Helpful notes
Questions welcome.
Here are clear answers to the questions we hear most often from new and returning makers.
Are the courses suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Beginner courses start with vocabulary, workspace preparation, measuring, and basic process decisions before moving into a finished pour.
What materials do I need?
Each catalog item lists its recommended materials. Many lessons use soy wax, heat-safe vessels, a scale, a thermometer, wicks, and fragrance samples.
Do you teach safe candle-making habits?
Safety is included throughout the curriculum, including heat awareness, workspace organization, labeling, storage, and responsible testing. Follow local guidance and product instructions.
Can I take courses at my own pace?
The lessons are designed for calm, repeatable study. Course access and delivery details are shown with each offering or confirmed by the studio team.
How do I choose the right level?
Beginner covers fundamentals, Intermediate develops testing and design judgment, and Advanced focuses on refinement, troubleshooting, and collection planning.
Can I save courses for later?
Select Follow on any catalog card. Saved IDs remain in your browser and appear on the Fallows page until you remove them.
Do courses promise a specific business result?
No. We teach practical craft skills and planning methods. Outcomes depend on practice, materials, testing, local requirements, and each maker's decisions.
How can I ask about accessibility?
Contact the studio before enrolling so we can discuss course format, written materials, workspace considerations, and reasonable ways to support your learning.
